We have all had the frustrating experience of attracting and repeating negative experience into our lives over and over again. How often have you banged your head against the wall wishing you knew how to change the pattern and you simply don’t know why its happening or what to do about it? Maybe you keep attracting romantic relationships that end… or business partnerships that always seem to head south after the ‘honeymoon period”. Whatever your “head-banging” experience is the technique I’m going to share with you will support you in identifying and then eliminating these frustrating patterns so you can choose to have the experience you really want.
First, think of a frustrating experience or pattern you want to change. Now, think about who was involved and how they “did you wrong” and you still haven’t let it go, or a better word for that is forgiven them. Then think of at least another two or three other occasions where the same kind of thing happened with a different person. Found them? Now, before you carry on reading write these down in your journal under three columns: who, what happened, I felt resentful because…
I’m assuming you have done this. Can you see that you have done something really simple but uncovered an important PATTERN that keeps popping up in your life. “Ok”you say, “so what to do about it…”
There is something important to take note of here: forgiving someone, (which is very important and necessary for your wellbeing) while it restores your relationship with the person if you so choose, my experience has shown me that while the person, place and circumstance might be different the pattern does pop up again unless it’s dealt with.
While forgiveness is something we do to feel better about the situation, most often it’s because we feel we MUST forgive, so could there be a level of resistance somewhere in the subconscious?

Resistance in my experience usually takes place because of a fear of the result(s). Now remember dealing with the Law of Attraction we know that what we focus on expands and the things we resist are usually the same things we FEAR and so we always attract the things we FEAR into our lives.
Bottom line:
As long as you are resisting the experience (fear of result) it will continue to happen.
Heart Thoughts:
- Do the simple pattern test above , to check the patterns in your life.
- You spend a lot more energy to resist than to flow – resisting=focus. Remember, you are creating the result with your thoughts. Where is your focus?
- It takes forgiveness, “pattern clearing” and a change of thought focus to create a different result.
Heart Note:Keep track in your journal now that you are aware of the patterns you have, keep tabs on the results.
